Luck Is Where Preparation Meets Opportunity

Today more than ever we live in a world saturated with knowledge, innovation, creativity and technology than has ever been in the recorded history of human kind. There is low hanging fruit so to speak everywhere. Why do so few people not reach up and grab it?

Vince Lombardi states that luck is where preparation meets opportunity. I believe that so very few people reach up and grab their destiny is because so few people are preparing for it. So few people are looking for solution to the challenges that they are faced with day in and day out. They go into each day dealing with problems instead of going into each day with a new perceptive reality of solving challenges that are inevitably going to come. Great minds and great thinkers are always great problem solvers, they are solution finders. Here I am reading a book called Hidden Solutions All Around You— Why Some People Can See Them and Some Can’t by Daniel R. Castro.

I pray that I am ready. I pray that you prepare your fields and become ready for your harvest. Is your brain prepared, is your health prepared, are your emotions prepared to observe new discoveries, to innovate new ideas, and breakthrough limiting beliefs that have been set in your past for years or even decades?

Carthaginian General Hannibal says, “we will either find a way or make one.” My challenge to you today is to accept the truth that there is no such thing as a problem without a solution. Think about every challenge you’ve ever faced in your life, there was always a solution which eventually presented itself. You may not have always liked it, you may not have always accepted that the solution was there. It was a matter of choice to pursue it. There are no impossible situations in life, only difficult decisions waiting to be made.
