I live by the concept of eating like a king for breakfast, a prince for lunch and a beggar for dinner. Breakfast sets the tone for a healthy day. I eat proteins and healthy fats. This fuels my blood sugar for the whole day. Eggs and veggies or Eggs and chicken sausages. I snack on nuts, seeds, and some berries. I do allow some dark chocolate but sparingly. I eat salads often for lunch with a protein like chicken, beef, turkey, or fish. I don’t go back for seconds anymore. Enough is as good as a feast. For dinner I have fish and serve it with lightly cooked cruciferous vegetables. This portion size is the smallest I generally consume throughout the day.
