Heart Blockage

A research paper showed that the longer the time between the heart attack and death, the greater the blockage. If death occurred one hour or less after a heart attack, only 16% had sufficient blockage to cause the heart attack. The increase in blockage as time passed before autopsy led the authors to believe that the blockages did not cause the heart attacks, but-rather the blockages was caused by the heart attacks, and increasingly built up in the hours before death.
