Good choices for main dishes would be fresh-baked fish, vegetables. Do your best to avoid eating animal protein at the evening meal as eating these heavy, hard to digest proteins in the evening stress out your digestion because digestion is slowing down getting ready for sleep. Meat is better consumed at breakfast or lunch. Eating heavy at night will encourage weight gain, poor sleep and waking up more tired than when you went to bed.
