Gluten Sensitivities

Chemical Fertilizers cause the growing Incidence of gluten sensitivities (intolerance to wheat, rye, and barley)?  When large amounts of nitrogen based fertilizers are added to crops it cause extra protein to be produced and less carbohydrate. This sounds great with the low carb high protein diets out there. The extra protein produced is in a storage form that contains lower amounts of essential amino acids. It’s a poor quality protein otherwise know as a junk protein. Gluten is an example of this junk protein.
