Children's Eating Habits are set in stone by 9 years old….Part 3

Never force food on a child, that will blow up in your face and ruin any chances for healthy eating in the future. Lead by example and never expect your children to do something you are not willing to first do yourself. Your children will eat when they are hungry, just make sure that they are not holding out for the little debbie snacks at school or junk food at grandma’s house. Last tip, we find for our busy little ones that if we leave a tray of food out, (consisting of fruit slices, dried fruit, almonds, pecans or walnuts, red, yellow bell-peppers, carrots, or celery) they will stop and graze on it during the day.
